The Clipper Stad Amsterdam is a unique ship brimming with history, designed in the same lineage as the fabled clippers Cutty Sark and Thermopylae. Built with modern maritime safety and sustainability in mind, she represents the best of two worlds. Modelled after the commercial tall ships of the late nineteenth century, when maritime trade was at its peak, Stad Amsterdam won the prestigious Tall Ships Race in 2001 due to her impressive speed. At the same time, she is fully equipped with state-of-the-art sustainable shipping systems of today. As the official flagship of the city of Amsterdam and the five-yearly nautical event SAIL Amsterdam, Stad Amsterdam continues to create new opportunities for all ages.

Our private vist to Stad Amsterdam includes the opportunity to explore and discover this wonderful sailing ship with members of her crew who will guide us and tell us about her history, lineage achievements and special features, combining state of the art technology with nautical traditional and sustainable technology.

Registration Cost: $200 for Members and $250 for member's guests.
