Neville Ngomane, from Bushbuckridge, near Kruger National Park in South Africa, Winner of the Young Environmental Photographer of the Year Award, is in Hong Kong to exhibit his photography at the Hong Kong Club

Neville shows his photographs of Africa’s majestic animals, and of the raw power of Africa’s wilderness and bush. These includes his powerful image of a rhino dehorning, titled Desperate Measures, which was selected from more than 4,000 international entries by the judges of the Young Environmental Photographer of the Year Award, who commended its storytelling and photographic merit.

Neville Ngomane is a graduate in Cinematography from AFDA University in Cape Town, South Africa. He previously studied with Wild Shots Outreach, a Hoedspruit-based non-profit organisation that teaches wildlife photography to young people from poor communities. The programme prioritises high school students from government schools and unemployed young people bordering the Kruger Park. He also attended National Geographic photo camps in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Park and other Project Rhino reserves, including Somkhanda and Manyoni.
