RGS-HK is excited to partner with VR-Enlightenment Limited to bring members an exclusive Virtual Reality event that offers a unique opportunity to explore the stunning beauty of three distinct geographical wonders in an immersive 360-degree format.

Oksky Nature Reserve
One of the wildest places in eastern Europe is the Oksky Nature Reserve, located in the floodplain of the Oka River near the Urals.  The many animals here have adapted to new, more difficult, conditions for survival.  It is a stunning area for waterfowl and waders, and important habitats for bison and for crane, as well are rare species of deer.

Underwater
Below the surface of the water, there is a special kind of life.  One of the most beautiful places in the world is the Maldives archipelago with its pristine nature.   Through the amazing VR experience, you meet flocks of colourful fish here, as well as gracious manta rays.

The Losiny Ostrov Reserve
Near to Moscow, the beautiful Losiny Ostrov Reserve is replete with nature, including birch trees, thrushes and the magnificent elks.  In the VR experience, you walk along the tracks of rare animals, and feel the scale and excitement of the local marshes and glades.

VR-Enlightenment Limited is a pioneering Virtual Reality service provider in Hong Kong, offering a one-of-a-kind shared immersive experience for up to 25 people simultaneously.  VR-Enlightenment's exclusive licensed content offers a range of virtual field trips and experiences, enhancing knowledge and understanding of geography through virtual exploration.

The Royal Geographical Society - Hong Kong wishes to express its thanks to
The Executive Centre as the Venue Sponsor of this talk.
