Much of the world’s wildlife is being driven to the brink of extinction by human demand. Dr Liu Ying Ying, who is the founder of LumiVoce, uses music to advocate on behalf of wildlife, with the intention that animals may be more heard, appreciated and protected.

LumiVoce aims positively to engage and educate people, especially the next generation, through music and emotive stories. The aim is to inspire respect, and ultimately to protect nature and wildlife. This is through reducing demand and preserving biodiversity.

LumiVoce uses innovative music mixed with human voice, the sounds of wildlife and nature to show that human beings and wildlife are all connected and can thrive together.

Dr Liu Ying Ying received her doctorate from the Eastman School of Music in USA. She performed as a pianist and soprano in Europe, USA and Asia. Dr Liu is a passionate wildlife conservatist and she founded LumiVoce in 2016. LumiVoce has produced a series of acclaimed wildlife conservation music videos featuring critical ecosystems and wildlife stories. It engages with young people through Voices for the Planet Wildlife Art creations.
